Who can become a Member?

• National Physics Organizations
• Individual Physicists and Institutions
• Service Providers

How to become a Member?

1. Read the "PhysNet Charter" and decide, if you agree with the principles of the PhysNet Service.

2. If you are an "International Physics Organization"
1. Check that your Web-Server contains a link to PhysNet.

2. Inform your members (member societies) about PhysNet and ask for a PhysNet Membership.

If you are a "National Physics Organization"

1. Check that your Web-Server contains a link to PhysNet.

2. Inform your members about PhysNet.

3. Find a person checking the national links-lists in PhysNet. This person should contact physnet@physnet.uni-oldenburg.de directly to get informed on how to maintain the link-lists permanently. We will change the Logos on these link-lists to the one of the maintaining institution and your society.

4. Find an institution to set up a national mirror of the PhysNet service. For detailed information read http://www.physnet.de/PhysNet/contribute.html#mirror

If you are an "Individual Physicist or Institution"

1. Please check, if the links to your institution are correct.

2. Check that your Web-Server contains a link to PhysNet.

3. Fill in the Upload-form with professional information on yours, the Institutions Web-master etc.

4. Feel free to set up a national mirror of the PhysNet web-sites. For detailed information read http://www.physnet.de/PhysNet/contribute.html#mirror

If you are a "Service Provider"

1. Send an Email to physnet@physnet.uni-oldenburg.de to inform about the Service you like to offer in the frame of PhysNet.
   Please, be aware the service is compatible to the principles of PhysNet written down in the Charter.
3. Print out the PhysNet Charter and sign it. Send the signed Charter via paper-mail to
